Telemedicine Platform with Video Consultation
A digital health platform needed video visits built directly into the product experience, rather than routing patients out to a separate video conferencing app for every appointment. We integrated the Zoom SDK directly into the platform to make that possible.
The Challenge
Standalone video call tools disconnect the virtual visit from the rest of the patient's care record — scheduling, documentation, and follow-up all end up living outside the actual visit. That disconnect creates friction for both patients and providers, who have to leave the platform, join a separate link, and then come back to document what happened, with no guarantee the two systems stay in sync.
The Solution
We integrated the Zoom SDK directly into the platform so providers can initiate and manage video consultations without ever leaving the clinical workflow they already use. The video session is tied to the patient's existing scheduling and record within the platform, so a virtual visit behaves like a natural extension of the rest of the care workflow rather than a separate tool bolted on the side.
